- Follows the Matthew 18 principle when dealing with students, faculty, parents and administration.
- Serves as a Christian role model in conduct and of cleanliness and modesty, in agreement with the OCS Staff Handbook.
Professional Qualifications
- Holds a bachelor’s degree in education from an accredited college or university.
- Possesses a current State of Iowa teaching license or is in the process of recertifying/obtaining it. (Preferred, but not required)
- Willingness to continue progress in career development.
- Knowledge of computer technology or willingness to learn.
Job Description
- Provide classroom instruction using the curriculum given and approved by the OCS Board.
- Integrate Biblical principles and perspectives throughout all curricula from a Biblical worldview.
- Minister in the field of education by discipleship and communication of faith to the next generation.
- Possess necessary computer skills to use the Chromebooks, School Information System, Interactive Display Boardsl, and Gmail.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with students, parents, faculty, and administration.
- Follow all guidelines and procedures set in the OCS Staff Handbook.
