We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 4th Grade Teacher to join our South Olive Christian School community. - Plan and design lesson plans from the approved school curriculum
- Teach lessons using a variety of methods and learning techniques
- Effective management and organizational tools for the classroom
- Help/assist with field trips, chapel, school events and committee
- Outgoing, creative, self-motivated and passionate about faith and education
- Share innovative education ideas with SOCS
- Testimony of faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
- A passion for Christian education
- Has a maturing relationship with Christ and His church, and is reaching out to those who do not yet know Him
- Unreserved commitment to the purpose, vision, and core values of SOCS
- Ability to abide by the policies, procedures, and practices of SOCS
- Can subscribe without mental reservation to the Statement of Faith of SOCS
- Effective communication skills: written, verbal, and interpersonal
- Derives satisfaction from serving as a team player in a collaborative environment
Education Requirements
Education Requirements
- Has a valid teaching license or the ability to obtain one
- A demonstrated strong and growing faith in Jesus Christ
- Classroom experience is preferred, but not required
