Once in Always In

The Plan currently has a provision that requires contributions to be made for any employee with credits in the Plan regardless of the number of hours worked.  Based on requests from our schools, this provision is becoming optional on a school by school basis as of September 1, 2009.  Schools electing the “once in always in” option will continue to enroll all employees with credits in the Plan.  Those schools not electing “once in always in” will only enroll those employees who work half time or more.
