Out-of-Province coverage Change

Effective June 1, 2007, the Trustees have reduced the return-to-home-province requirement for retirees from 30 days to 1 full day (24 hours). If you are planning a trip out of your province, you have emergency medical coverage for 60 days. You must return to your province for at least one full day to be eligible for another 60 days. The 60 days need not be consecutive days. In case of an emergency, you must call Worldwide Assistance Services within 24 hours.
